Definition

Enter which rules should be carried out to choose variants of a daily work schedule.

You enter the daily work schedule selection rule for the standard variant of a daily work schedule. It is then evaluated to determine the variant currently in use in the daily work schedule.

You can enter two specifications for each rule:

  1. The specification "01" shows which variant should be used to determine the valid daily working schedule for the relevant day.

  2. The specification "02" shows which variant should be used for absences and attendances.

Use

In this field you enter the rule number which was defined in the view Rules to determine variant for monthly work schedule generation. The view specifies which variant of a daily work schedule should apply on a Friday or on a day which precedes a public holiday, for example.

  • Standard variant BLANK
  • Variant A for work on Fridays
  • Variant B for work on public holidays of public holiday class 2

Procedure

If you want to create several variants of a daily work schedule, you must enter a rule number here.

You can also leave the field blank; no variant is determined for the daily work schedule in this case.

Dependencies

If the variant determined by the rules does not exist, the standard variant is used.

Use

The individual rules are numbered sequentially. The system processes the sequential numbers one at a time until an appropriate rule is found. Subsequent rules are not processed.
