Definition
Regions within a country subdivide the country into areas. A region groups together the IATA locations in that area.
Regions within countries are SAP-specific. Unlike IATA locations, you can define them any way you want. They are used as restricting criteria for the determination of trip rules for the relevant transportation and accommodation types.
