Definition

In some countries, the region forms part of the address. The meaning depends on the country.

The automatic address formatting function prints the region in addresses in the USA, Canada, Italy, Brazil or Australia, and the county in Great Britain.

This field can be changed at day level.

Time independence

You can define this field time-independently in the cost center accounting customizing menu item 'Master data'.

  • If you activate the time-dependence flag in the customizing, you can maintain different field contents for any period.
  • If you do not activate the customizing flag, you can only maintain one field value which is valid for all periods. There is, however, an indirect time-dependence, if you simultaneously change a time-dependent field. A new field value can be entered for the time-independent field for the validity interval of the time-dependent field.
