Definition
If this indicator is set, then the system does not require an option rate method when you create a contract of this contract type, even if the company code opts to pay sales tax. You can you also hide the screen for maintaining option rates. To do that, you have to use a different screen sequence that has to be assigned to the contract independently of this indicator.
You can use this indicator so that you do not have to set up an option rate method for contracts that you do not want to post tax on. If tax is posted on these contracts anyway, the input tax distributionfunction is not able to distribute the document. In that case, you can either specify an option rate method after the fact, or you can reverse the document.
