Definition

Provides a group of supply elements that you can include in supply and demand matching.

Use

You can assign each MRP element category to a supply group.

Note:

Each group builds on the preceding group. That is, each group contains the supply elements of the preceding groups plus new supply elements.

The following options are available:

  • Blank - No Supplies
    That is, no supplies are included in supply and demand matching.
  • 1 - Stock
    The stock quantity is included in supply and demand matching.
  • 2 - Execution Supplies
    Stock + execution supplies are included in the supply and demand matching.
    Execution supplies (that is, production has been triggered for in-house production or a shipping notification has been received for external procurement) include, for example:
    • Shipping notifications
    • Quality inspection lots
    • Released production or process orders
  • 3 - Ordered Supplies
    Stock + execution supplies +ordered supplies are included in supply and demand matching. Ordered supplies include, for example:
    • Production or process orders that have not yet been released
    • Purchase orders or schedule lines
    • Maintenance orders
    • Network orders
  • 4 - Planned Supplies
    Stock + execution supplies + ordered supplies + planned supplies are included in supply and demand matching.
    Planned supplies include, for example:
    • Purchase requisitions
    • Planned orders
