Definition
The distribution object is used to specify the set of objects that can be used by the distribution formula. Before applying the distribution formula, the system then removes all objects from this set that do not belong to the object type requested.
- Distribution object is a contract
The distribution formula can use all contract objects.
- Distribution object is an object group
The distribution formula can use all group objects.
- Distribution object is a concrete object
The distribution formula can use only the concrete object.
Example:
Building A, building B, rental object C, and rental object D are assigned to a contract. There are three contract conditions that each use the contract as a distribution object and one of the following distribution formulas:
- Divided equally - Any
The condition amount is divided equally among building A, building B, rental object C, and rental object D.
- Divided equally - Building
The condition amount is divided equally between building A and building B.
- Divided equally - Business entities
Since no business entities are assigned to the contract in this example, no distribution takes place.
