Documentation
Definition
The flow type classifies a flow in the cash flow. A flow in this context affects the change of an accounting item (for example, costs, revenue, and so on).
Supplementary Documentation - RECDFLOWTYPE0001
Use
The flow type that is assigned to the line item during one-time posting is copied to the corresponding line item in FI. This flow type does not have any control functions. (The account determination, in particular, is not controlled by the flow type. Instead it is controlled by the account symbol that you enter directly in the line item.)
You can use the flow type to categorize line items in FI for reporting purposes.
The flow type has to be defined in Customizing for Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX). If you use flow types that are also assigned to conditions, make sure that the posting activity is in agreement with the posting that is triggered by the cash flow.

Use
Enter the flow type here for the P&L account that is used for posting the initial fuel level and fuel purchases. Postings to this account, with additional account assignment of the corresponding service charge key, are also selected for the fuel storage location table. The postings for the initial fuel level are excluded from that.
