Definition

The condition group is a grouping of condition types. You assign the condition group to the contract type or usage type in Customizing.

Condition groups are used for the following in RE-FX:

  • For each contract type or usage type of a rental object, you can specify which condition types are allowed for this contract type or usage type. To do this, you assign the condition group containing the condition types you want. Remember that the account assignment that is set up for these condition types (flow types) has to agree with the contract type and with the Offerer/User indicator.
  • You can refer to condition types or condition groups in calculation methods used for calculating condition amounts. If you refer to a condition group, then the system uses the total of all conditions of all condition types assigned to this group as the basis for the calculation.
  • In the real estate search, you can assign one or more condition groups to an RE search request type. For the prospect, you then specify the maximum allowed rent in the RE search request for all condition types of this condition group.
  • Condition groups can also be used in reporting. You can set up your reporting so that condition types of the same condition group are summarized together in one column of the report. For more information, see the Configure Condition Profiles IMG activity.
