Definition
The possible roles are defined for each application in Customizing. The relationship between a partner and an object, or between a partner and a contract, always views the partner in a given role. If you create or assign a new partner from an object or contract, then you have to choose a role for this partner.
The role determines how the partner is treated in follow-on processes.
The role that the partner has in relation to an object or contract is also entered in the business partner master data. There you can see which roles the partner is assigned to.
Example
Possible roles are:
- Tenant
- Landlord
- Architect
- Administrator
- Real estate specialist
