Documentation
Definition
- The indicator is not set (' ')
When you create a partner in the given role, the address of the object, for which the partner is created, is not displayed. The address is only proposed if you entered the address (or parts of it) as a search criterion for the partner search.
- The indicator is set ('X')
When you create a partner in the given role, the address of the object, for which the partner is created, is displayed. You can overwrite the address manually.
- The indicator is set as 'enhanced' ('+')
When you create a partner in the given role, the address of the object, for which the partner is created, is displayed. You can overwrite the address manually.
When you change a partner in the given role, the address of the object to which the partner is assigned, can be assigned as an additional address. The call of this assignment must take place explicitly in the partner overview. For technical reasons it has to be after the object is saved.
Note
- The address is adopted automatically only in dialog mode and only if the address of the object was already known at the time the partner is created.
- For the contract the system adopts the address only if at least one object was already assigned to the contract at the time the partner is created. If multiple objects are assigned to the contract, the system first checks if one of the objects is a rental object with a usage type other than parking space or garage. If more than one rental object is assigned to the contract, then the system uses the address of the first rental object in the sort sequence.
If no rental object is assigned to the contract, then the system searches in this order: - Business entity
- Building
- Land
It checks if any these have an address. Within the object type, it uses the address of the first object in the sort sequence.
Objects that are assigned for informational purposes are also included in this process.
Example
You set the indicator as follows, so that when you create partners in the role, the address is defaulted from the objects as defined.
- Object type Building, Role Caretaker
- Object type Contract, contract type Residential lease-out, Role Tenant
For contracts, it is then helpful to set up the screen sequence for contract types, for which this indicator is set, so that the object assignment screen comes before the partner screen.
Or, instead of that, the end user could use the Create Contract for Object function (from the context menu in the RE Navigator) to ensure that the contract is already assigned to an object at the time that the partner is created.
