Definition
Specifies which time slot of the adjustment parameter is used for the condition adjustment.
- Valid on Valid-From Date of Condition
The system uses the time slot that is valid on the valid-from date of the condition being adjusted.
Exception: The dependent condition type is read from the time slot that is valid on the date of the adjustment (calculated from) of the condition to be adjusted.
- Currently Valid
The system uses the time slot that is currently valid (on the system date).
For determining the value of this indicator, the system first uses the time slot that is valid on the valid-from date of the condition being adjusted.

Example
The contract contains a condition with a valid-from date of January 01, 2005.
For the adjustment term, two time slots have been defined with different adjustment parameters: (1) until December 31, 2005 and (2) starting on January 01, 2006.
When adjusting the condition, the system first determines the time slot that is valid on the key date of January 01, 2005 (the valid-from date of the condition), that is (1) until December 31, 2005.
- If the value for the time-dependency parameter in this time slot is Valid on Valid-From Date of Condition, then the system uses the parameters of this time slot for the adjustment.
- However, if the value for the time-dependency parameter in time slot (1) is Currently Valid, then the system uses the parameters of the time slot that is valid on the current system date. If the adjustment is performed on March 03, 2006, for example, then the system uses the parameters of time slot (2).
