Documentation
Definition
Specifies if an adjustment rule can only be used for a simulated adjustment run, or if the adjustment can also be activated.
Use
- Indicator is set (
'X'
)
It is not possible to activate or save an adjustment using this rule. Such an adjustment can be used, for example, for comparison to the value determined by the contractor (landlord) when the company code is the user (for instance, for lease-ins).
Example for Combined Adjustment Rule
For the purposes of comparison, it can be useful to simulate an adjustment using a rule other than the one agreed on in the contract. For example, you could use a different index series or simulate an adjustment based on the representative list of rents rather than an index. The simulation demonstrates which adjustment would have provided the more advantageous amounts. It enables you to possibly renegotiate, or take this information into account in new contracts. By setting this indicator, you prevent these simulated adjustments from being activated inadvertently.
- Indicator is not set (
' '
)
The adjustment rule is an ordinary adjustment rule. Adjustments made using this rule can be activated, and thereby determine the new amount of the adjusted condition.
