Specifies the percentage of the total costs of the adjustment measure that the system apportions to the contracts or rental objects affected. The number of monthly rents that this percentage applies to is determined by your entry in the Period in Months field.

Example

For a modernization measure, the costs are usually apportioned to the regularly paid rent. In some cases, the rent adjustment is regulated by law. In that case, the law may state an upper limit for the percentage rate that is allowed to be used.

For example, in Germany, a maximum of eleven percent of the costs of a modernization can be apportioned to the annual rent of apartment tenants (that is, over twelve monthly rent payments).
