Definition
Indicates that the adjustment measure is a higher-level adjustment higher-level adjustment measure.
Use
Higher-level adjustment measures are made up of submeasures, which can only be activated together for an adjustment. You can use higher-level measures and submeasures when you have an extensive measure, and you want to break down the costs by the type of construction done.
The higher-level adjustment measure then contains only the information related to capping. This information then applies to the total value of all of the submeasures. There are no values on the higher-level measure itself that are included in the calculations for the adjustment. During the adjustment, the system writes an adjustment record for each higher-level measure.
The following applies for submeasures:
- You can only create a submeasure for a higher-level measure as long as the higher-level measure was not yet adjusted.
- Making an adjustment on the basis of the submeasure is only possible using the higher-level measure. All submeasures belonging to a higher-level measure are always adjusted together.
- In certain cases, you might want to remove a submeasure from the higher-level measure (before the adjustment is activated). This could be, for example, because part of the construction was delayed, but you need to perform the adjustment for the other submeasures now. In this case, if you already notified your tenants of the adjustment, you have to cancel the notification (by corresponding with the tenants) before removing the incomplete submeasure. After the reversal (or if you had not already sent notification), you can deselect the Has Higher-Level Measure indicator on the submeasure you want to remove. The system then automatically designates the measure as a normal adjustment measure.
