Definition
If this indicator is set, the rule cannot be assigned directly to a contract or rental object. It can only be assigned as part of a combined rule.
Example
For apartment lease-outs, the law dictates that basic rent has to be adjusted using the "representative list of rents" and "comparative group of apartments" methods. Then you can define a combined rule called "apartment rent" to which the "representative list of rents" and "comparative group of apartments" methods are assigned as subrules.
