Documentation
Definition
For a condition type classified as a surcharge, indicates if the surcharge is canceled when the main condition is adjusted.
- Indicator is set (
'X'
)When the main condition is adjusted, the system checks whether there is a surcharge with this condition type in the contract. If there is a value in the Term in Months field, the system also checks whether the surcharge already existed at the time defined by this term. If this is the case, the surcharge is canceled to zero at the same time the main condition is adjusted. (The valid-to date of the surcharge condition is set to the day before the adjustment date of the main condition.)
If a condition purpose was also defined, when the surcharge is canceled, the system creates a condition with the condition purpose that you entered.
- Indicator is not set (
' '
)The surcharge remains unchanged after the main condition is adjusted.
Use
Entries in this table are only necessary if conditions that are not assigned to an adjustment rule are to be considered in an adjustment method.
