Definition
Dropdown box, from which you can choose the input status of a parameter field in contract or rental object processing.
Use
- Hide in Contract/Rental Object
In order to have a better overview in contract or rental object processing, you can suppress parameters that, for example, were specified once for your enterprise and are the same in all rules.
- Display in Contract/Rental Object
This can be used for parameters, which you do not want to change individually, but that you want to be able to see when you are in the processing screen.
For example, in some countries a certain pass-on percentage rate applies depending on the index series that is being used. In this case, SAP recommends that you create a rule for each index series in which the Display inContract/Rental Object indicator is set for both the index series and the pass-on percentage rate.
- Modifiable in Contract/Rental Object
There are parameters that you want to be able to change individually, but for which there is a normally used value that is stored as a default value. This default value can be overwritten in the contract/rental object.
- To Be Fixed in Contract/Rental Object
The value of these parameters is entered individually in the contract or rental object. These values are always stored with the contract terms or rental object terms. Changes you make in Customizing do not affect existing contracts/rental objects. Instead they only influence the default value for newly assigned adjustment rules.
