Definition
For index adjustment, the system determines the date on which the adjustment becomes effective by first considering the date calculated based on the Adjustment Delay in Months. Then the system uses the value entered here to check if the resulting adjustment date is the
- Start of a quarter
- Start of mid-year
- Start of year
If none of these is the case, then the system shifts the adjustment date backward in time.
