Use
Specifies, for a condition type, which of the following types it is for an adjustment using a specific adjustment rule:
- Main condition
A condition type is a main condition when it should itself be adjusted according to the adjustment rule that is set (for example, basic net rent, exclusive of heating expenses for the rule representative list of rents).
- Surcharge condition
A condition is classified as a surcharge condition if it is also taken into account during adjustment of the main condition (for example, an appreciation surcharge).
- Reference condition
You use this only for adjustments based on an adjustment measure.
- Waiver condition
You use this only for adjustments based on an adjustment measure.
- Capping condition
You use this only for adjustments based on an adjustment measure.
You can assign as many main condition types and surcharges to a rule as required. When adjusting a main condition with a given rule, all surcharge condition types that are assigned to this rule (provided that they are available in the contract/rental object to be adjusted) are always taken into account. Any additional main condition types defined for the same rule are not taken into account. Therefore, they are only relevant for contracts/rental objects where a condition with this condition type and the appropriate adjustment rule is specified.
