Use
If a lock reason is assigned to an adjustment term in the contract or rental object, then the condition belonging to the term is excluded from any adjustments.
Dependencies
The effect this has on adjustments is described below:
- When the system determines the conditions that are to be adjusted, it also checks if there is an adjustment lock. If a lock reason is set on the day, beginning on which the new condition generated by the adjustment would become valid, then the adjustment is not made.
- If you set the lock reason, although the adjustment was already calculated for some conditions on this contract, then the indicator does not have any effect. You can activate the adjustment as though there were no lock.
There are two ways to remove the lock again:
- You delete the contents of the Lock Reason field.
If you now execute a new adjustment run for the same date as before, then the system adjusts the contract for that date.
If you execute a new adjustment run for a different date, then the adjustment is made later in accordance with the date you chose. - You use the time-dependency of the adjustment rule.
Choose @1U@ with the quick info text Show Time Dependence.
Create a new time slot by choosing @1U@ New. As the valid-from date, you choose the date beginning on which the adjustment lock was removed. For this new time period, you delete the contents of the Adjustment Lock field.
If you now execute an adjustment run for time periods before this one, then the system cannot make the adjustment due to the lock reason. However, if the new adjustment record is valid on or after the date beginning on which there is no longer a lock reason, then the system performs the adjustment.
