Definition

Specifies if the approval of the other contractual partner is required for a condition adjustment that is performed using this rule.

Use

  • Indicator is set ('X')

Adjustments made using this rule require the approval of the other contractual partner.

If the company code is the offerer (for example, real estate contracts of the lease-out type), then you have to ask for approval by sending an adjustment approval request. It is not possible to activate the adjustment until the other party has given his or her approval (exception: the Activation Without Approval Possible indicator is set).

If the company code is the user (for example, real estate contracts of the lease-in type), then once the adjustment approval request is received, you have to print and send the confirmation of approval.

  • Indicator is not set (' ')
In this case, you only need to activate the adjustment. The new condition amount is then posted during the next periodic posting run and paid during the payment run. A written confirmation of approval is not required.
The same applies for internal lease-ins and lease-outs. Normally no correspondence is necessary for internal rentals.

Dependencies

This indicator is not relevant for rental objects.
