Definition
Minimum remaining time (in months) in the current settlement period.
Use
At the start of the adjustment, you can specify that the new advance payments amount is determined in such a way that the advance payments in the current settlement period correspond to the costs of the period to be settled. With the minimum remaining time, you can specify that this calculation is only applied if the time remaining for the current settlement period exceeds the minimum remaining time.
Dependencies
Example
From the year 2000, a monthly advance payment of 100 EUR was made for operating costs.
The settlement period is 01/01 - 12/31 for each year.
The total operating costs for 2000 amounted to 1400 EUR.
The new advance payment from 10/01/2001 should be set so that the advance payments made in 2001 correspond to the costs incurred in 2000. (Monthly payments of 100 EUR were made from January through September 2001). However, this should only be taken into account if the time remaining for the current settlement period is at least six months.
Since the time remaining for the current settlement period in this example is only three months, this settlement variant is not applied:
( 1400 / 12 ) = 116.67
