Definition
The system requires a language for the control table. If there is no entry in this field, then the system uses the logon language.
Background
To make the control table easier to understand, technical names are not used in the formulas in the control table. Instead they use the language-dependent codes of the variables, which you enter in Customizing (see Define Variables for Adjustment Control). Therefore, in order to be able to process the table during an adjustment, the system needs to know the language with which the table was created.
