Set this indicator for adjustment rules requiring approval, if activation is allowed before approval has been received.

Sometimes approval is implicit, for example, because the adjusted rate was paid. If approval is expected, the periodic postings are often executed using the new rate, even though the explicit approval of the rate adjustment was not yet received. If this indicator is set, the activation of an adjustment requiring approval can take place, although the approval has not yet been entered. The approval can then be entered after the activation.
