Definition

Key for grouping logistics units of measure for rounding purposes.

The rounding rule consists of units of measure and percentage threshold values. You can create individual rounding rules in Customizing. For this, you assign every unit of measure a threshold value for rounding up and/or down. The rules for converting between different units of measure must be available in the relevant article master.

Examples

The logistics units of measure "PAL" (pallet) and "LAY" (layer) are assigned the rounding rule "01". If a rounding profile is assigned to material 4713 that has the rounding rule "01", then the system (depending on the threshold values) can round to complete pallets or layers of 4713.
