Definition

Specifies the unit in which you enter the target quantity of the item and the upper and lower limit of the permitted tolerance range. In material items, the unit must have the same dimension as the base quantity of the material.

Use

Dependencies

Which units are permitted in a subview depends on your Customizing settings.

The following requirements must be met for the system to be able to calculate the item quantity total of a subview:

• In material items, the unit of the item or the alternative unit of measure of the material must have the same dimension as the unit of the item total.
• In substance items, the unit of the item must have the same dimension as the unit of the item total.
