Documentation
Definition
Specifies that the system searches for a primary output of the formula.
Use
Dependencies
If a formula only has one output, this is automatically the primary output.
In particular cases in the formula explosion, only formulas of a substance are further exploded in which the substance is the primary output. In order for this to happen, you have to set the No Sec. Output (no explosion of secondary outputs) indicator for the explosion scope in Customizing for Formulas under Specify Explosion Scopes.
For more information about formula explosion, see the Recipe Management documentation.
Example
A formula produces material X, whereby 10 % of input material Y is recovered. X and Y are then output materials of the formula and X is the primary output.
