Definition

Specifies which type of formula integration is allowed in recipes.

Use

This setting applies to the recipe types that can be assigned a formula, in other words, the recipe types general recipe and site recipe, as well as all your own copies of these recipe types. The following options are available:

  • Integration of independent formulas:
In this case, you create formulas independent of the recipe. The formulas have separate scopes of application and separate time-based change states, and can be linked to several recipes.
You can link the recipe to an independent formula either historically or non-historically.
  • Historically: Each recipe change state can be linked to a different formula.

Non-historically: All change states are linked to the same formula. In order to assign a non-historic link to an independent formula or to delete this link, the status of all change states must be "In process."

  • Integration of recipe-dependent formulas:
In this case, the formula is automatically created when a recipe is created. This formula has the same scopes of application and change states as the recipe and can only be processed from the recipe. The formula is permanently assigned to the recipe and cannot be linked to any other recipes.

This setting also applies to the recipe-dependent formulas that can be assigned a stage formula. As is the case for recipe types, the following options are also available for recipe-dependent formulas:

  • Integration of an independent stage formula
  • Integration of a dependent stage formula
