Use
Key preceding the legal relationship number with a hyphen to ensure that there is a unique key per legal relationship in the collections/disbursements system.
This prefix to the legal relationship number is necessary because insurance legacy systems might use the same legal relationship numbers.
When a document is posted, the legal relationship type is automatically transferred to the field for account determination ID. The account determination ID is a criterion for automatic determination of the payables and receivables accounts.

Field Contract of the business partner item will now read 11-4711.
Procedure
If you want to enter a document manually, you have to enter the legal relationship type.
With automatic transfer of documents the legal relationship type has to be specified in the interface.
