Definition
In the restricted Economy Class, unlike the unrestricted Economy Class, there can be conditions regarding possible changes in the flight reservation. There is usually an additional charge for cancellation or changes in flight day, time or route. These conditions can differ from flight to flight, however.
The advantage to the restricted Economy Class is usually a cheaper airfare rate.
