Discount/price adjustment controls whether conditions that are granted to a contract during its validity period are adjusted according to the scales that have been defined if the target agreement is exceeded.

Until sales exceed the target quantity, this always has priority for the contract conditions. Conditions can be improved once the contract has been over-fulfilled.

During final settlement, the system always determines final contract conditions on the basis of the quantity that has been sold unless they have been agreed specifically for this contract. Discount/price adjustment during the contract validity period means that the same conditions are being granted earlier.
