Definition
This value is an indicator as to how efficient the sequential scan I/O is on the database server. Online keeps track of the number of sequential scans as well as the number of read-aheads done on the database. It is benificial to try and minimize the number of read-aheads (disk I/O) and at the same time not be too wastfull with the information which is not used resulting from a read-ahead.
