Definition
Block indicator for samples in a stability study.
Use
This indicator shows you whether or not a sample for a stability study is blocked.
The indicator is available for the initial sample, as well as samples for storage conditions.
The block indicator can be set or reset within the stability study using the relevant follow-up functions ("Change Initial Sample" or "(De)activate Storage Conditions").
In a stability study, the blocking of a sample for a storage condition means that no other call objects (= inspection lots) can be created for this storage condition during deadline monitoring.
This means that a storage condition can be, for example, temporarily "deactivated" by setting this indicator, as no tests will be performed on this sample during the stability study.
Dependencies
If you want to remove a stability sample from storage (see relevant follow-up function), the sample must first be blocked.
