Definition
Defines the lower specification limit for monitoring a process statistically.
Use
If the control variable exceeds the lower warning limit, you must monitor the process more closely. This does not necessarily mean that you have to take action.
The system uses statistical methods to determine the lower warning limit. If the appropriate settings have been made in Customizing, you can also predefine this limit manually.
