Documentation
Definition
In the QM component, the inspection severity serves as an identifier for a normal, reduced, or tightened inspection.
Use
When you use a sampling procedure with a sampling scheme, then the inspection severity is normally taken from the dynamic modification rule for the sample determination. The system uses the inspection severity to find a sampling instruction in the assigned sampling scheme.
The inspection severity in this field is taken into consideration when:
- no dynamic modification rule is defined in the inspection plan
- the indicator "No stage change" is set in the sampling procedure
- a skip is planned (although it is inspected in spite of that)
Procedure
You can enter only the inspection severities that are already available in the assigned sampling scheme.
