Definition
The inspection rate is the relationship between the total sample quantity and the total inspection lot quantity.
The inspection rate is expressed as a percentage value.
Note
If inspection lots are totalled with different units of measure, the rate is only partly meaningful.
In this case, the rate is displayed with asterisks (**) as a unit, instead of a percentage symbol (%).
