Use

The process model shows how the system calculates the values "mean value" and "standard deviation" in the QM information system. Since the mean value and the standard deviation are used to calculate the Cp value and the Cpk value, these are also represented in the process model. The process model accepts the following values with following results:

Value 1:

The mean value is calculated from the sum of the single values divided by the total number of valid values.

The standard deviation is calculated from the quotient root of the sum of the single-sample variances, divided by the difference of the total number of valid values minus the valid samples (internal dispersion).

Value 2:

The mean value is determined by the mean value of the mean values.

The standard deviation is calculated from the sum of the single-sample dispersions, divided by the total number of valid values (mean dispersion).

Value 3:

The mean value is determined by the mean value of the mean values.

The standard deviation is calculated from the root of the sum of single-sample variances, divided by the number of valid samples.
