Documentation
Definition
You use this indicator to control the link between Document Management (DMS) and the code of the code group.
Use
Dependencies
When the indicator is active, you can assign documents in the transactions for editing codes.
When selecting codes for editing at a later stage (for example, in results recording), the assigned documents can be displayed for the codes.
When you deactivate the indicator, existing document assignments are not deleted, but they are no longer displayed for the code. In the document itself, no new assignments to the code can then be created.
Note:
If you edit the codes via Customizing, note that the assignment of documents is not a Customizing setting and does not have a Customizing transport link.
Requirements
To be able to assign documents, you must have entered at least one document type in Customizing for Document Management under Control Data -> Define Document Types that allows the assignment of codes (object QPCD for object link).
For the object link, you also have to enter the screen number 500.
