Documentation
Definition
This indicator influences the copy and move functions in the tree of the FMEA cockpit.
Use
If you set this indicator, you can copy the following components from the current FMEA or another FMEA with lower-level list items:
- Functions
- Defects
- Effects
- Causes
- Prerequisites
- Characteristics
You can also move functions within the function list of the same FMEA.
For you to be able to copy the objects to another FMEA, the hierarchy profiles of the function lists must match.
All texts and the following fields are copied:
- Screen area Search Criteria: Search Field, Grouping
- Catalog
- Code group
- Code
- Version
- Master inspection characteristic
- Characteristic type
- Valuation specifications
Dependencies
The existing functionality using drag and drop, copy and paste, and cut and paste has been changed for the following assignments:
- Copy of functions of an element as a function beneath a function list
- Copy of a function of a lower-level element as a prerequisite beneath a function
- Copy of a defect of an element as a defect beneath a function
- Copy of a defect of a higher-level element as an effect beneath a defect
- Copy of a defect of a lower-level element as a cause beneath a defect
- Copy of an FMEA as an element beneath the list of higher-level and lower-level system elements
- Copy of an FMEA as an FMEA reference beneath a group element
- Copy of a defect of an FMEA as a (element) defect beneath the function of an element
When the indicator is set, this copy function is only possible using copy and paste or CTRL + drag and drop. With the new functionality, the objects are moved to a different place with cut and paste.
