Documentation
Definition
The hierarchy level is a measure of the number of batch changes up to the start point of the batch where-used list.
Use
In the cockpit for QM evaluations, it is not possible to display hierarchical relationships between individual components from one batch where-used list graphically. Instead, the hierarchy level helps with the navigation of hierarchical interrelationships.
Dependencies
Example
Batch changes can be caused by a production step or by repacking. As part of the QM evaluation, batch where-used list are performed from top to bottom so that the start point of the batch where-used list is assigned hierarchy level 1. The hierarchy level increases, the closer you move towards the preliminary product and the raw materials.
