Definition
The hierarchy models the relationship between the individual components in a batch where-used list.
Use
Hierarchies aid local orientation within the QM-evaluation component data tree. Every batch is clearly identified within the components of an individual batch where-used list by a combination of hierarchy number and batch number.
Hierarchies enable you to track which preliminary-product batch enters which end-product batch. The end-product hierarchy is made up of the preliminary-product hierarchy plus a suffix.
