Definition
The relevance of the ratio field varies depending on the context.
- For data nodes that represent notifications:
- If all notifications refer to the same material and the unit of measurement of the reference quantity can be converted, the field contains the ratio of total returned quantity to total reference quantity.
- Otherwise it contains the average ratio of returned quantity to reference quantity.
This value is a measure of the returned part of the quantities recorded in notifications.
- For data nodes that represent notification items:
The field contains the ratio of the total number of defects to the total reference quantity of the superordinate notification node.
This value is a measure of the defect frequency in quantities recorded in notifications.
- For data nodes that represent defects:
The field contains the ratio of the total number of defects to the total lot quantity of the superordinate inspection lot node.
This value is a measure of the defect frequency in the quantities recorded in the inspection lots.
- For data nodes that represent causes:
The field contains the ratio of the number of cause data-records for the node to the number of defect data-records in the superordinate node.
This value is a measure of the relative frequency of defect-cause relationships.
