Documentation

Definition

Indicates the earliest date, on which the quality level can be deleted.

Use

If you make a change to the data record by using a transaction other than "Change Quality Level", the system automatically recalculates the deletion date for the quality level.

This occurs, for example, in the following cases:

  • Updating of the quality level when a lot is created, or when the usage decision is made.
  • Tightening or resetting the quality level using the quality level evaluation program
  • Tightening or resetting the quality level using a quality notification

You can, however, overwrite the calculated quality level manually at any time using the "Change Quality Level" transaction.

Once the deletion date for the quality level is reached or exceeded, the quality level can be deleted using the quality level deletion program.

Dependencies

To calculate the deletion date, the system uses the value in the field "Expiry date of the quality level in days" in Customizing for setting the archiving parameters in Quality Management.
