Definition

Defines the reference of the characteristic description on the electronic certificate to the characteristic fields maintained in the SAP system.

Use

For example, you determine for outgoing certificates whether the characteristic description on the electronic certificate is the:

• Internal characteristic ID, or the partner-related characteristic ID converted using the characteristic mapping table
• Short text for the master inspection characteristic
• Characteristic name (the master inspection characteristic name or the class characteristic name)

You determine for incoming certificates which characteristic fields in the SAP system should be used to find the characteristics on the electronic certificate.
