Unit of measure for the variable-size item quantity.
Procedure
You can maintain alternative units of measure for the base unit of measure in the material master.
In "BOMs", not all alternative units of measure are taken into account - only the unit of issue.
- Possible values are:
- base unit of measure
- unit of issue
- Units of measure whose dimension is the same as either the base unit of measure or the unit of issue
- The system takes a default unit from the material master when you do not enter a unit:
When the issue unit is entered on the storage detail screen, the system uses this unit. Otherwise, it takes the base unit of measure.
