Definition

You use this key to specify which type of formula link is allowed in recipes.

Use

This setting applies to the recipe types to which you can assign a formula. This includes the recipe types general recipe and site recipe as well as all customer-defined copies of these recipe types. You have the following options:

• Linking independent formulas:
  In this case, you create formulas independently of a recipe. The formulas have their own scope of application and their own change states for certain times. They can be linked to several recipes.
• Linking recipe-dependent formulas:
  In this case, the formula is created automatically when you create a recipe. It has the same scopes of application and change states as the recipe and can only be maintained from within the recipe. The recipe is closely assigned to the recipe and cannot be linked to another recipe.
