Documentation
Definition
Profile that combines default values and default settings for the creation of a change master record.
Use
When you generate a change master record while creating a new change status for a recipe, the default values of the profile you assigned here are copied. They cannot be changed from within the recipe. For this reason, the profile must comprise the following values:
- A status that permits object changes
- An object type profile with the object types PVS variant for recipe editing and Substance (specification) for formula editing.
Note:
If you want to restrict the usage of your change master records to certain recipes and formulas, you must create the change master records manually in engineering change management and assign the relevant object types to them there.
Procedure
Examples
Dependencies
You only need to make this setting if you permitted recipe editing with a change number in the change master record field.
The profile must have been defined in Customizing for Engineering Change Management (see IMG activity Maintain Profile).
