Definition

Specifies which line or group of alternative lines within a line network is used for the model mix planning in the APO System. The system forms the order sequence for this planning segment, which then applies for the entire line structure.

Use

• If your line structure consists of only one line, select the indicator planning segment for this line.
• If your line structure consists of a line network and several lines or groups of alternative lines, select the indicator planning segment for the line for which you want to optimize the sequence.

  Model mix planning determines the start and end dates for the orders in the planning segment. The start and end dates for the preceding and succeeding lines are determined by forward and backward scheduling.
