Definition

Specifies for which application an iPPE object is defined. This also specifies which attributes and attribute values an object in iPPE can have.

Use

The following objects can be assigned to an application object type:

  • Nodes
  • Variants
  • Alternatives

The assignment to an application object type assigns the object a certain task in iPPE.

Example

A node type that is assigned to the application object type CMP is given the task of representing a BOM component.
