Definition
The edition actually delivered is that supplied to the ship-to parties named in sales orders. This edition (actually delivered) may differ from the edition in the sales order.
This can apply in the case of combination or substitution.
- Example of substitution:
A local edition is purchased in the sales order but the subscriber is supplied with a 'national' edition on certain weekdays. - Example of combination:
Edition X is purchased in the sales order but the subscriber takes edition Y (possibly a completely different publication) additionally on Sundays.
